USED Thorowgood Griffin BLACK synthetic GP pony saddle 15" MEDIUM. This item is in fair condition, has a small nik out of the cantle on one corner (see photo) and there is no material on the knee roll sections but the foam padding is sound as well as the tree. This item would be ideal for the children to mess around on or as a breaking saddle. The D-D measurement is 7" and the internal gullet measurements are as follows front 3 1/2" middle 2 1/2" back 1 3/4".

Lovely,clean and very comfy saddle. In used but excellent condition.Plenty more miles in this saddle. Has 2 flaws which are shown on the photos and could easily be repaired but I have used for years and it hasn't got worse. Has some horse hair caught in the knee flaps that will come out with a velcro brush. (havent got one!) Fitted my quite high withered TB very well. 9 inches from d ring to d ring. Only selling as have treated myself to a leather one !!

Leather look material easy to clean and wipe down.   Cosmetically it has been used so shows normal signs of use e/g light rubbing/small scratches/small marks hear and there, the only blemish’s to point out is:   1. There is a small “nick” in the material on the back cantle on left hand side (Shown in photos) it is small and doesn’t effect use.   Wouldn’t cause ANY issues at all with its use.   A great little saddle.   Fab saddle for backing purposes/home/starter saddle.   PLEASE VIEW photos ALL cosmetics are shown. A black, synthetic general purpose Thorowgood saddle in good condition. It has suede-effect seat and knee rolls and is very comfortable to ride in. I bought the saddle two years ago to back my youngster in and it's been brilliant, but now he has changed shape, so I'm having to sell it.  It's lightweight and robust and has the usual signs of wear, but is in great working condition. It has a cut back pommel, so great for higher/larger withered horses. It's very easy to maintain - just a quick wipe down with a damp cloth does the job. Both stirrup leather keepers have been lost (see photo), but the flaps are totally fine. All 6 girth straps are in good condition as is the tree. There is only one buckle guard (there was only one when I bought the saddle). It's an ideal saddle for hacking, jumping, flatwork, backing a young horse or for a cold backed horse due to being lightweight. It measures (see photos too): 9" D ring to D ring 5.5' inside below D rings 15.5"cantle to cut back part of pommel 17" cantle to front of pommel 13" across the widest part of the saddle flap Please note, the saddle blanket in the photos is not for sale!
