Details about   18" Black Thorowgood Saddle

18" black Thorowgood Saddle in good condition. Interchangeable gullet system and currently has a black R-bar gullet in it which is a Medium size. Saddle has been used a handful of times but due to being stored away has a few minor imperfections. There are slight wear/rub marks on left side of saddle (see pictures) on the seat and saddle flap but this is very minor. Also; there is a small nick on right side of saddle flap which I believe has been developed from being stored away. Stirrup leathers included in sale but stirrup irons are not. Still in very useable and good condition and looks lovely when cleaned up nicely. It is semi synthetic. Has some wear and tear on the underneath I.e. the straps however still attractive looking and functional. Collection only or I can deliver locally if asked first!

Bought off here last week but just not wide enough for my cob no wither mare. Sat on it though and found it very comfortable and leg supportive. It's 11 inches d to d and 6.5 inches through the gullet. In really good condition no wear in suede at all. Unfortunately it's non changeable gullet and has no blocks though with those big puffy knee rolls probably won't need them...

For sale is a standard T4 thorowgood GP saddle in black. It is a 17" and has the Velcro on thigh and knee rolls. It is in good used condition, the girth straps are in good condition. It does not have an interchangeable gullet. The distance between the D rings is 10 inches/25 cms.
