For auction with sensible reserve a Thorowgood " long saddle, has adjustable gullet and is currently fitted with wide gullet (this can easily be changed and gullets are available off shelf from Thorowgood agents). We are only selling this as our daughter has grown to tall for it and we have purchased a larger saddle. It has a slight bit of wear on the stitching and plastic of the right hand leg flap (see picture) otherwise the wear/condition is what you would expect from a two/three year old saddle. This was bought new by us and only used on the one pony, it replaced a smaller Thorowgood PC saddle, we have found them to be excellent and would have bought another if there was a larger size. Please feel free to ask any questions via e-mail PS the saddle tidy is not included and is only used for display purposes. The saddle can be collected after sale from our home address or posted via ParcelForce 48 hour service, this will go out on Monday 22nd and £15 should be added to purchase price to cover this service.

Thorowgood 15" X wide T4 Pony Club saddle. Brilliant little saddle, ideal for small children as it is the short flap design, so their legs get past the end of the saddle flaps.  I bought this saddle 3 years ago. It has been used once a week for 1 hour, during the summer time only, never used in winter, so is in absolutely fantastic condition. It even smells like a new saddle.Always used a numnah, the girth straps show  very very slight signs of wear. This saddle has 3 well spaced girth straps to help stop the saddle rolling on flat backed ponies, there is a D- ring on the back for a crupper too. It does have removeable knee rolls and comes with the fish inserts, which have never been used. This saddle look like it has come straight out of the shop, a real bargain!

16.5 thorowgood pony club saddle. Excellent condition. Couple of stitches coming open at bottom of flap (pictured), and one of the knee rolls is slightly damaged but doesn't affect use (also pictured) has had new leathers a while back but good condition.   I think it has adjustable gullet but I could be wrong. I've never tried changing it. Measures approx 8 inch D-D. I would say it's M/W. Was used on a Welsh section c. It has a little wear and always been looked after. Please see pictures. This is a lovely saddle bought for a very old pony, it has been on the pony twice. The pony is a bit lopsided and it did nothing for her - daughter looked to have a good position in it.
