Walsall made pony dressage saddle.  In very good used condition. Rare to find a wide 16" true pony dressage saddle! Stamped Gallop on the flap. British standard on the stirrup bar. Good quality English leather throughout, and well made. Stamped 'Made in Walsall, England' on the sweatflap. Good big knee block. Versatile, comfy and secure. Good wide and well padded seat. Lovely broad panels and wide gullet. Puts you in a correct position. Set back stirrup bars. Suede seat and knees for more grip. Measures 16" from stud to centre of cantle. Measures 9 1/2" across the dee's. Nice Wide to Extra Wide fit.  Flap measures 15" from stirrup bar to bottom.  Tree is sound. The stitching is strong, and girth straps are in good condition. Has point strap fitted, to help stability, and holds the saddle well behind the horse's shoulder. Panels are wool flocked and soft and even. Just normal signs of wear and use. The Verona soft leather 15" in black has been used on a 13.2 Darmour x. I would say he was a wide fit. Future adjustments to any width are also possible. The Saddle Company Pony saddles are built on the TreeTec injection moulded plastic tree, which ensures symmetry in manufacture and an even weight bearing surface for the pony. Modern construction and materials give a much lighter saddle than a traditionally produced saddle. The saddles come with serge lined panels as standard for better heat dissipation and horse comfort. Unfortunately this saddle is surplus to requirements as whilst it fits the pony, it doesn't fit the child it was intended for! It is in extremely good condition and as the photos show is leather with serge panels and synthetic flaps so is the best of all worlds! It has a wide gullet & wide panels to distribute the weight of the rider away from the spine, and is designed to fit awkward-shaped native ponies with broad flat backs & no withers. I do not have space in my tack room for all the saddles that I have found really useful and comfortable so am having a clear-out and getting rid of everything very cheaply! I have listed this item elsewhere so may end the auction early, but I am happy for anyone near to RG9 to view it, or else to try it on. I myself have had a nightmare with various courier companies that claim to not be able to find the house or find anyone at home, so I am happy to send at cost via the buyer's preferred company, in the meantime I will list P+P as £15, but it could well be less

15" Kes GP/ VSD/ WH style pony saddle in brown.  XW - measures approx 10" D-D.  quality leather - Made in England. This saddle is in good used condition.   All sound, only fault is that one of the KES badges is missing this is purely cosmetic.  It is still smart enough for the show ring, we used to use it for working hunter classes. The saddle has a comfy semi deep seat and a fair sized knee roll to keep the little ones happy and on board.  I have used it on our Welsh A but it would be suited to any wide native/ cob type pony.   Recently valued at £385 by my saddler.  I am looking for offers around £250 as surplus to requirements.
