They have leather soles have been carefully soled over with rubber so they take more wear and are less slippy. They are supple, black, quality leather and shine up really well after a muddy day. They have functional, boot pull straps inside both boots to pull them on. Damage: Hunting scratches and riding creases to both boots. See pics.
