There are a few stretch marks in the seat and slight fading towards the rear of the saddle as shown in the photographs but it is a superbly comfortable saddle and expensive when new. It measures 9" from D ring to D ring.

Black English made GP/Event   saddle. Made by GFS. Good quality, sought after saddles. British standard on the stirrup bar and serial number stamped on sweatflap.  Measures 17" from stud to centre of cantle.  Measures 9" across the dee's. This is a nice wide fit. Flap measures 15" from stirrup bar to bottom.  Tree is sound. The stitching is strong and girth straps are sound and solid. Normal signs of use. Flair air flocked panels. Brand new black 18" event / general purpose saddle. Manufactured by Ideal for Stirlingshire Saddlers. They design & Ideal make all there saddles. This is a narrow fit. Was bought for 16.1hh ex-racehorse and never used. It already has deeper panels to allow for the high withers. Horse no longer around so saddle not required. Only sign of wear is bit rust on one dee-ring. Little dent on girth straps as been tried on a few horses in yard. See photos. Between dee-rings 7.5/8 " Comes with Ideal cover. I paid £900.

Hardly used.   I am selling this saddle with a brand new Throrowgood Girth 56" (not used) and 4 interchangeable gullets which is the wide gullet kit.    The Throwogood Girth is worth over £ and is 56" and I  have decided to sell as this did not fit hence the selling with saddle.   The "Easy Change" Wide Gullet kit has 4 gullets which are sizes 1 extra wide (1XW) to 4 extra wide (4XW) white to dark Purple. Worth around £ in value.   The Saddle has not been used much due to not riding the horse so decided to sell. It currently has the light purple gullet fitted. This saddle has fitted a Percheron breed and can go wider if required.   If you would would like to collect please advise as I'm happy to do this. Cash on collection is welcome. In excellent condition this GP/Event  saddle was built on a standard tree and is a medium fit. It was made to measure for my Irish Draft cross Thoroughbred who had a fairly flat back hence the back pads are deep but this can be adjusted to rebalance  by reducing the flocking to suit.
