 Hand crafted, Ladies, front only,polycotton lined Silk Dupion Waistcoat for Side saddle, Showing and Dressage. Champagne in colour. T his beautifully made, one size waistcoat fits sizes 8-18, regular nape to waist measurement, has an adjustable velcro fastening at the neck and part elasticated,velcro fastening waist tabs. The waist band can be adjusted by folding to fit and securing with some hand stitches or even a safety pin! If you have a full bust, you will need the extra long version. Please see my other items listed.  There are 5 mock horn buttons and buttonholes at the centre front. However the velcro fastenings allow for a quick change! Silk is a natural fibre. Dupion silk has irregularities in the weave which give dupion fabric it's distinctive characteristics. These are not considered flaws. Vintage sparingly used Western Headstall / Bridle. It is a horse/cob size. It needs studs on the cheek piece which are easy to find. It was an expensive piece in it's day and was hardly used. It is beautifully hand tooled, the browband is beautiful. The silver is hallmarked.
