A wonderful sketch of a loyal retriever in his master’s doorway, which would be irresistible to any dog lover. Unfortunately, the sketch has suffered foxing, and whilst most of this is outside the border so it could be reduced in size, there is a patch to the left of the dog within the border. For a book signing at Silvester I came up with this print by Franka, very modern mobile (!) phoning in the red light district. Scene taken from the beginning of the Portuguese Gold ship. At that time I had it so busy that this ex-libris is borrowed from the Portuguese Gold ship: it is one of the indoor vignettes that were used as a sort of title pages in the "making of" file of the luxury versions. Which were of course in black/white.But I had when designing that vignette of course several set up. Here such an alternative design.
