Show bridle in chestnut with matching martingale (sorry no reins-my horse trod on them and snapped them), cavesson noseband and browband and raised and stitched, matching pattern on martingale, all stitching in white and fully intact, no repairs been done or required, in perfect working order, good quality well made leather. Bought new last year (still have receipt for martingale), for showing my horse but it looks too fine on his big clunky head and I can't compete now due to ongoing health problems, colour comes up beautifully when cleaned, suits a light fine-boned thoroughbred type horse would look fab on a chestnut horse! Reluctant sale but already have 3 other bridles and cant ride much so no point me replacing reins. Real good bargain for the lucky bidder. For any rider who may be interested in arts and crafts, check out all my other items, I know it's a long shot but you never know lol! I purchased this bridle a couple of days ago in the hope that it would fit my horse (he's very hard to fit to!!) as it is such an eye catching bridle. Unfortunately, his odd shaped head prevails again and so grab yourself an unused bargain! The bridle has the added benefits of a shaped head piece to fit nicely around the ears with padded brow and noseband. It also has a sheep skin pad to give your horse a comfortable experience with the grackle style noseband. SHIRES ENGLISH FULL SIZE BLACK BRIDLE.  (Ref: 463 R) Bridle has a raised padded browband with a James Sterling logo badge.  And a padded raised flash noseband (lower flash strap is missing).  This is a crank style noseband.  Stainless steel buckles stamped 'Shires'.  Comes complete with a 5" jointed Kimblewick bit and curb chain, and a pair of plain leather reins.  The reins are not original to the bridle, and are very dark brown.  They do have slight damage at the top buckle (see photo).  Lovely bridle.  Soft supple leather. You are bidding on a used Full size, black, comfort bridle from Rhinegold. This is the German leather version of the Heritage bridle, to which it is otherwise identical. The soft padding around the ears, and the cushioned headpiece make this bridle very comfortable to wear. The bridle is about 8 years old, and the chin cushion and flash nose band are NOT original. The chin cushion is actually brown, but this does not show. The bridle has only been used on one horse, and although he had other bridles I always came back to this one, because it outlasted others, and the leather stayed soft and supple. This bridle is well used, and is not show quality, but it has plenty of life left, and is ideal for schooling or hacking. I am only letting it go because my horse is retired, and it needs to be used.

This bridle is full size and comes complete with a 5 inch staonless steel waterford snaffle bit. It's a comfort type padded all over where the noseband headpiece strap threads over the top. The bridle has been used more than the reins which have has little use. There is a little rust on the rein buckles but only a little. Leather work is nice and supple and I am not 100 percent that it is English but decent any way. First class posta offered.
