This is a lovely Sankey saddle that sadly I have to sell as my boy has got much bigger. Black leather. It is in good condition and extremely comfortable. It has been well looked after and cleaned regularly. 17 " and Wide width. Sankey Saddlery is a small saddle making company based in Kilsyth Glasgow Scotland. Andrew Sankey (Managing Director) is a Master Saddler and a member of the The Society of Master Saddlers. Based in Scotland, Andrew Sankey is one of the few remaining master craftsmen.  Unlike many modern saddle manufacturers, he still works from a cobbler-type shop filled with leather, saddle trees and all the other material needed to build a saddle from start to the finish.  While many saddle makers have gone to using laser cutters and other modern technology, Andrew Sankey still uses cutting boards and traditional saddle making hand tools. From his small workshop, Andrew is now exporting all over the world and is in high demand by many professional riders and trainers. A wooden spring tree will flex but it is still a solid construction made from wood and rein fused with steel. The panel may follow the horses profile but a solid construction of the tree will still cause pressure points across the horses back and seriously restrict the horses movement and comfort. "

AMERIGO Cortina " Med / wide fit. Black.   The Cortina is top of the Amerigo range. It has the deep seat for the rider keeping you in the perfect position and unbelievingly comfortable. It also has the half length panels (as shown in pics) giving the horse as much movement and comfort as possible. I have owned this saddle from new (costing me over £!) I've had it 4 yrs and it hasn't had as much use as I intended it to! (Always preferred jumping!) it has been out of use now for over 6 months and it's such a waste of a beautiful saddle. It has very slight fading on pommel an tops of the knee block (shown in pics) I had new girth straps put on a couple of years ago which have a slight bit of discolouration at the top (as shown) it also has a small mark on the cantle (as shown) being very picky but wanted to state everything.   Open to sensible offers. BLACK INCH SANKEY WORKING HUNTER / GP SADDLE This is a lovely used  saddle, it would be ideal for working hunter classes as it is not to forward cut, it has a good knee roll and a lovely deep secure seat.
