GP or ENDURANCE SADDLE Very stylish and smart brown leather endurance saddle for sale. Made by Sabine. In very good condition but obviously it has the usual wear marks as you would normally see on a used saddle. Stitching and leather secure and as it should be. The saddle was also re-flocked recently. An EXTREMELY comfortable saddle that can be used as an endurance saddle or GP saddle. Only selling as my youngster has had a growth spurt and the saddle doesn't sit level on him and my horse hates riser pads for some unknown reason so looking for a new saddle! Fabulous leather saddle that has been used only a handful of times as bought it for my young horse in the winter and by the spring when I came to ride him it was too small. Had kept it for my next horse which has never arrived so feel its time to let it go. Has been stored in my spare room not outside hence it's lovely condition. Paid £550 new. Happy to sell for a very reasonable price as it is just gathering dust and I would like someone to enjoy it and get some use out of it. Prefer it to go to a loving horse family than a saddle dealer. It is a Meyerstone Princeville Saddle of the Aberdeen design which is a general purpose saddle. It is a very comfortable saddle which I would suggest is a medium wide fit. My horse is now 17.3 and requires a wide fit. (Irish draught x) As you can see from the pictures there are some very small scuff marks where I have foolishly rubbed the saddle when storing but the small marks do disappear if you use a dark saddle polish. They are really hard to see however wanted to show them too you before purchasing. Has been cleaned and treated with saddle oil. You will also see from the pictures that underneath the saddle, and the girth straps are immaculate, as the saddle has hardly ever been used. This is a beautiful saddle which would not look out of place in the show ring. Measurements: 10"D ring to D ring, 5" in the entrance to the gullet, where the saddle sits either side of the withers. Stirrup bar to end of saddle flap is 14". Would be ideal for many breeds but would also suit a Thoroughbred and cross type. I’ve used it for a Welsh Part Bred a cob cross and a Thoroughbred cross. Condition: All girth strap stitching is sound as is the saddle throughout and there is no damage to the saddle tree. The saddle is in good condition. The girth guards, which are original to the saddle are stamped and embossed L&R17"N. The flocking is even and level. All stitching and leatherwork is good and serviceable. The saddle has some minor insignificant scuffs - not perfect as it’s a used saddle, but I'd be happy if I bought this saddle.
