Its a great trailer, floor is sound, covered in rubber matting, front and rear load I bought this trailer and it had been fully refurbished but the paint is flaking a bit now, so could do with a tidy but it is not essential as its fine, just wheel arches mainly Brakes and Lights all working, good tyres all round including new spare I believe it fits up to 16hh horses Tows great, very smooth This is an older trailer but its totally sound and ready to go! I have replaced the floor with new double thickness Marine Ply (March ) and i also treated it myself before laying, being a older Box and knowing how much punishment these floors take i couldn't risk a horse going through so i replaced for piece of mind Carries two 16.2 hh with ease Lighting system is brand new as i Re-wired it while i was doing the flooring.  New safety cable, jockey wheel in good order, hand brake working, tows well. Rice Double Horse Trailer Old but in good condition! Complete overhaul approx 3 years ago.  Really nice to tow.  It's been my main box up until now and will certainly go on for a fair few years yet! Fits 2x chunky 15.3hh cobs easily. * Solid wooden floor * Strong/solid chassis * 4 quality new tyres (have done under 500 miles) * Recently rewired * LED lights fitted all round  * Central partition * Rear load / side unload * Jockey door A few bad points which I have to mention are: * Jockey wheel needs replacing.  I've bought a new one which will come with the box.  I've just not had anyone to fit it for me. * The rear ramp is fairly heavy.  I decided (error in hindsight) to have rubber mat fitted to the rear ramp.  This has made it very heavy however it's never stopped me from using the box.  I can just about managed to open/close this on my own but it may require two people.  If I were to keep the box, I'd replace the rubber mat with lighter matting.  It's not a big job however (like the jockey wheel), I don't have anyone I can ask to do this. * Some paint is flaking.  The box was resprayed approx 3 years ago, however some of the paint has now started to flake - mainly the white around the top.  If someone had the time it could easily be retouched. It doesn't affect the look of the box too much and certainly doesn't make a difference to it's performance! Any questions please ask. Viewing welcome. Advertised elsewhere. This horse trailer is in need of some repairs. The brakes will need looking at, pulls ok but the brakes have locked on occasionally in the past.  Side door opens but the hydrolic arm needs repairing. Without repair it's very heavy (see pic) Back door and ramp works fine. Jockey door handle needs refitting. We have the handle. Floor is around 7 years old. Electrics work fine. Overall not bad condition for age but it needs some tlc on it. Viewing is welcome. Txt for a time that suits. SELLING ON BEHALF OF MY FATHER For sale is my Fathers Rice Horsebox. Brilliant box, never had any issues with it, also very easy to tow. It is a two horse box with side and rear loading. The floor has been chequer plated, the floors on these are normally rotten so this was done as a preventative measure. Unfortunately it is missing the central partition. The horse box itself is in good condition, very solid. Four very good tyres and one spare, also in good condition. The box has been painted blue, this is starting to fade.
