Made in the U.S., the Sports Saddle is the Rolls-Royce of treeless saddles. This is a rare opportunity to acquire one in this country. Fits practically any horse at any point in the season and allows exceptional freedom of movement in the back and shoulders. We are selling this for a client but have been using them for over 20 years at international level endurance and have never found a better saddle, so will be happy to provide a testimonial. They do not measure in the same way as a standard saddle so I've shown the dimensions in the photos. Apparently if you are a dress size 8 - 10 this is the right size for you. We have fitted girth converters to this saddle so it will take a standard English style girth. The original western rigging is still available. The stirrup hangers are large D-rings, wide enough to take wide-webbing leathers if you so desire. They are located under the skirt flap you can see in the pictures and attached to the body of the saddle by v-formation webbing. This means your stirrup weight is very evenly distributed through the saddle, and the hangars do not put any pressure at all on the horse. It also means you need to cut down your stirrup leather length. These saddles take a little getting used to by the rider so bidders who may be unfamiliar with them are strongly encouraged to contact us for a test drive.   We will only sell in the UK.
