Unfortunately does have cosmetic defects under the saddle flaps as shown. this does not affect its use at all. it has a nice deep and comfortable seat.    The Australian stock saddle is designed to facilitate long working days on horseback in the best comfort possible, and also to give the greatest security and support by virtue of the deep seat and the 'poleys' or thigh restraints  which help the rider maintain the correct position over rough or very steep terrain.  The stock saddles are held securely in place by virtue of an overgirth which passes over the seat and fastens to the girth strap along with the usual girth  buckle straps or billets as found on European style saddles.  Also sometimes used is a breastplate and crupper.  The girth and overgirth are provided in this sale, but a breastplate and crupper is not.    An innovation on the traditional Australian design is the 'hybrid' saddle,  which incorporate a western style roping horn, very useful to hang on to if the riding situation is getting serious, and you are not ropin' a cow at the time, and also ultra comfortable western style stirrups, with wide leathers reminiscent of western fenders, in place of European metal style  irons and narrow leathers.  The wider leathers means that must people could use this saddle whilst just wearing jeans and short boots rather than tall boots or chaps.   This saddle is in two tone tan and dark brown, see the photos.
