A lovely quality black english leather GP saddle made by Bachelor. The saddle measures 17.5" from stud to cantle, 7.5 inches between the D rings and 4 inches between the padding in the gullet where it would sit on the horses back. The stirrup bar is stamped with an N.  The tree is sound as is all the stitching, the leather is soft and supple, the girth straps are all in good order and the flocking is smooth and even with a nice amount of give in it. A very nice saddle in good condition. Postage to Ireland would be £20

This is a lovely little saddle which has been used on our 13.2 pony. It kept our young jockeys securely in place as for many years, for a various disciplines including dressage, jumping, hunting and lots of hacking. The Walsall stamp can just be made out, I believe the saddler was Don Burnell. There is no damage to the leather and all stitching is intact.  The saddle has been regularly cleaned and kept indoors. It measures 8.5 inches from d to d. Comes complete with a pair of 4 inch stirrup irons with white tread, and 54 inch stirrup leathers which are old but still have plenty of wear in them.  Jeffries stamp is just visible on them. English leather saddle, measures 17.5" seat and stamped on bar as medium width fitting. Measures 9.5" d-d. This saddle is old very well used and only really suitable for breaking in. The seat has some flexion that is only due to age and old webbs, not broken but wouldn't advise to use for much more than breaking purposes. The saddle has some scuffs and cuts in the leather on the pommel, but all of this is not really an issue as cosmetic and doesn't affect it for use.

  18" quality brown English leather GP saddle. 'Huntsman' - Made by F E Towe, Walsall. Says N (narrow) on tree but more like narrow/medium fit really 9" D-D centres, 4" between padding below pommel, cut back wither. Just been re-flocked and thoroughly checked June so all padding is even and stitching is good. Soft and supple leather. 4 new girth straps. This is a really nice comfortable saddle which has no serious damage just the normal small scuffs and marks you would expect from a used saddle. There is a small circular stain on the seat but hardly worth mentioning. Not overly large or heavy for an 18" Can be borrowed and tried if you are local. Returns accepted but buyer pays return carrier postage.
