This auction is for a Horseware Rhino pony wug plus turnout rug in black and tan check. It is 4ft 9" with 370g filling. The neck cover is part of the rug. I used this rug for a few weeks only as it was bought for a very hairy pony and she was too hot in it except when weather was really bad. The pony has now moved on to another home so I no longer a rug this size. I buy these turnout rugs now above any other because the combination of fit, price and warmth are unbeatable - I've not found a shape they don't suit and they seem to be fairly indestructible.  I've spent a fortune at the rug wash recently so decided not to send this one as it wasn't used much and only has a few little muddy marks. Still has the 'puffiness' you get with a new rug.

Fantastic Rug. Our pony had no rub makes and was never too hot due to this brilliant very high quality material. We don't have the pony anymore that's the only reason for this sale. I paid over £140 new last January for it. There was a 4 cm tear on the inner material Last year which I fixed but it was minor. I also don't wash my rugs so that all the water proofing in in full working order. We are on sand so very lucky. However this rug never once got wet, the water just runs off it !!! Horseware Rhino Mediumweight Turnout Rug 6'6'' Detatchable Neck Blue Tartan with Cotton Jersey Lining. This super rug is in good used condition, it has been cleaned and reproofed since it was last used.   Surcingle buckles are rather rusty looking but solid.  All straps, clips and buckles are good.  Some of the velcro is a bit hayseedy. The rug doesn't specify its weight but I'd guess it was about 300g+.   It has a cotton jersey lining. There is a very small hole in the exterior of the tail flap which is shown in the last photograph. Also a small hole in the jersey lining of the neck at the seam adjacent to where the velcro joins neck to rug.   There are a couple of spots on the rug where the seam joining the jersey lining to the outer rug has a small gap in the stitching.  However, overall the rug is in great shape and is absolutely fine to use as is. Only for sale as I no longer own the horse that this rug fitted. Having a tack room clear out - please view other items. Thank you.
