This is a lovely saddle in very good condition. It was literally used a handful of times as just after I bought it, new from Rideaway (for £160), I started using bareback pads. As this proved so successful, I have never used the synthetic saddle since.  This saddle has no marks or tears etc.  It uses the 'fish' system which is a series of different shaped inserts for pockets that lie at the point of the tree on each side. This means the saddle is slightly adjustable.  The saddle is a wide-extra wide fit.  The seat is suede which allows greater security for young riders, providing a little extra'stick-a-bilbity'!

This is an old Penwood Lightweight jumping saddle in black leather with suede knee rolls.  I bought the saddle new and have always cared for it.  I used it in my eventing days many moons ago but it has sat in my spare room for too long.  It is a lovely sound saddle I would consider it a medium tree but have shown some measurements across the gullet for a prospective buyer to decide for themselves. The saddle is in very good order the girth straps are strong and there is very little wear throughout.

Unfortunately this saddle is surplus to requirements as whilst it fits the pony, it doesn't fit the child it was intended for! It is in extremely good condition and as the photos show is leather with serge panels and synthetic flaps so is the best of all worlds! It has a wide gullet & wide panels to distribute the weight of the rider away from the spine, and is designed to fit awkward-shaped native ponies with broad flat backs & no withers. I do not have space in my tack room for all the saddles that I have found really useful and comfortable so am having a clear-out and getting rid of everything very cheaply!
