The Point 2 P2-RS is built on a "chassis" of the RS Racesafe body protector, which is approved to BETA Level 3, with the added protection of Point Two air vest technology incorporated into the garment. How the P2-RS Works A lanyard attached to the jacket is clipped onto a lead afixed to the horse's saddle. Once the rider leaves the saddle during a fall, the lanyard detaches itself from the P2-RS, triggering the release of CO2 gas from a canister. The P2-RS will hold a rider tight for seconds and then slowly deflate. The revolutionary P2-RS carries the European Standard EN Level 3, which it meets when both inflated and uninflated. Selling my Point Two Air Jacket as I have retired this year from eventing to concentrate on my dressage. I have worn this amazing piece of kit several times but happy to confirm that it has never 'Inflated' as I have never fallen off....but the peace of mind it has given me has been well worth the money. Comes with one air cannister fitted and a spare plus the lanyard for attaching to the front of the saddle. MEDIUM...ADULT. With fully adjustable straps to fit it snugly over your body protector or can be worn alone for hacking or showjumping. BLACK AS NEW....except for a few marks conducive to normal use.
