The stud guard is of a high quality leather and although it has been used, with the right care it still has numerous years left in it.  It has only been used a handful of times and is still in very good condition. The only signs of use are a few scuff marks on the outer side, which you can see in the picture. There is a piece of leather that has frayed from where it was stitched on the inside of one of the straps but is not noticeable and can be pushed back into place with a little bit of patience.

Top quality 17 inch black handmade by Paul Jones, English leather saddle,(made in Walsall) Very light weight super comfy & soft I have owned this saddle for 4 years, it has been very carefully looked after, cleaned after every use, using Stubben leather products. It has always had a saddle cover and been stored indoors. I have been using this on my 15.2HH WBXTB with high withers,and also my 16.2HH IDXTB it suits the thoroughbred shape type perfectly, with a slight cut back pommel it is a medium fit, with nice deep secure seat. with slightly forward cut saddle flaps. one of the most comfortable saddles I have ridden in.  All girth straps in great condition,no marks or scratches(apart from very minor usage marks underneath the girth straps). Recently checked by a saddler and has no defects what so ever,except for a couple of loose stictches at the very bottom of one of the saddle flaps, I was quoted £15 to repair, but have reduced price of this saddle by £100 because of this (see pics) this does not affect the use of the saddle in any way. These saddles cost over £ new. A bargain for someone who wants a smart,sought after make, great condition saddle, I AM SELLING A SELECTION OF SADDLES AS NO LONGER NEEDED, THEY ARE ALL IN FABULOUS CONDITION, PLEASE SEE MY OTHER LISTINGS.

Lovely gp/event style flap with decent knee rolls and a medium-depth seat.  The saddle was made by a Master Saddler and bears the Garfield Roth Saddle Company Logos.  Its a 17.5" seat.  8.5" d-d.  Medium width.  Spring tree.  Engraved 'M' and has not been altered.  Its in overall good used condition. The usual but very minimal use related marks are present to the flaps, seat, cantle, pommel and knee roll beading. The d rings are slightly tarnished. This saddle is without doubt still smart enough to use at competitions.  Very nice saddle purchased last weekend in hope of fitting my new boy, sadly it seems he'll need a MW fitting saddle. Lovely saddle very comfy.  UK bidders only please prefer collection but will post tracked. I purchased this saddle new and have looked after it, having it re flocked with wool flock. It does have a scuff to the cantle shown in pic 5 and general wear from use. Any questions please message.  I have had it recently looked at by a master saddler and the tree checked over all being fine only selling as I require a 16.5.
