Die Nutzung von Navigations- und Informationshilfen beim computerunterstützten Lernen und Wiederlernen: Computerunterstützte Lernsysteme bieten eine Vielzahl von Hilfen, um in der Wissensbasis zu navigieren und um leicht zusätzliche Informationen zu erhalten. Die vorliegende Arbeit geht der Frage nach, wie diese Navigations- und Informationshilfen in Lern- und Wiederlernsituationen genutzt werden. 45 Lehramtsstudenten nahmen zu Semesterbeginn an einem fünftägigen computergestützten Lernkurs zur Gedächtnispsychologie teil. Das dabei gewonnene Wissen sollte zu Semesterende in einem eintägigen Wiederlernkurs aufgefrischt und ergänzt werden. Insgesamt nutzten nur wenige Kursteilnehmer die vielfältigen Navigations- und Informationshilfen, die das verwendete Hypermediasystem MEM bietet. Die Nutzer navigierten im wesentlichen durch Vor- und Zurückblättern im Hypertext. Dies gilt für Lernen und Wiederlernen. Die am häufigsten verwendeten und am besten bewerteten Informationshilfen sind zum einen die Möglichkeit, sich Begriffe durch einfaches Anklicken im Text erläutern zu lassen, und zum anderen die strukturierte Inhaltsübersicht. Von den verschiedenen Wiederlernstrategien zeichnet sich die selektive durch eine besonders kurze Wiederlernzeit aus. Bei dieser Strategie soll der Kursteilnehmer zunächst Wissenslücken anhand von Aufgaben finden. Trotz der kürzeren Arbeitszeit machten die Kursteilnehmer in der abschließenden Wissensdiagnose nicht mehr Fehler als unter Anwendung der beiden anderen Strategien, für die sie z.T. doppelt soviel Zeit benötigten.
