Brown English made GP  by Barrie Swain. British standard on the stirrup bar and serial number stamped on the plate.  Very comfy. With a full french serge panel with quilting on the sweatflap. Good knee block. Scrumph hide on the seat and knees. Good all round saddle - would look equally neat in the show ring for WH. Measures just over 17" from stud to centre of cantle.  Measures a good 8" across the dee's. This is a nice medium fit. Flap measures 15" from stirrup bar to bottom.  Tree is sound. The stitching is strong and girth straps are sound and solid. Normal signs of  use. Nice wool flocked panels are soft and even. Beautiful leather quality, soft and supple throughout. Has a small repair to the underside of the panel where the serge has worn slightly - not seen or felt in use. Please see pic. Pics really do not do this saddle justice. Good quality, well made black leather " medium fit saddle. Cut back at the pommel so ideal for high withered horses. Very comfortable seat and very lightly used as used for competing. I've had this saddle from new and only selling as my horse is no longer able to compete due to injury. Seen one of these on saddlewise-southwest.co.uk for £580 new recently which is a little more than I paid a couple of years ago. Regrettable sale but needs must as no point it sitting in the tack room. Grab yourself a bargain. Thank for looking.
