Brilliant stretch hood/ Neck cover. Perfect for keeping your dirt loving horse clean especially before an event. Can be used in the stable, field or travelling combined with a rug. These hoods are great but most are a faff to get on,trying to pull them over your horse's nose (which they REALLY love!!) not this one... just pop it on & zip up from chest to jaw under the neck. Handy & neat. Has straps to attach to a rug or bib. This is in used condition though not had much wear, just been stored for a few years. Has a fews rubs & bobbles, nothing major. One tie tab for under jaw has come off, not necessary for use works fine without it but just sew a new tie on if required, nothing too technical. Happy to combine postage, I find that items usually can be doubled up or even tripled up on most postage, so take a look at my other items & grab a bargain! Happy bidding!

I have for sale a Size medium dress circle Lycra hood, this fit my 14.2hh chunky pony. This is one of the few hoods I have found that doesn't move and cover your horses eyes, unfortunately you can't buy these any more. These are great for clipped horses for a bit of extra warmth, or just before a competition to stop stable stains and to keep plaits in, and it also stops the join between rug and hood rubbing your horses mane away. This has a full length zip to help getting it on and off. This is in good used condition, there is some bobbling to the Lycra where it has caught on the Velcro of my stable rugs hood attachment. There are also some loose threads around the eye and ear holes, but all the stitching seems sound. There is the tiniest tear, probably about 3cm long which has been repaired and is hardly noticeable, I have included a pic of this so you can see. I really loved these hoods, this is only for sale as my pony died earlier this year, and if I get another it will be bigger than him. If you buy this and are not completely satisfied for any reason, simply return it to me unused for a full refund less postage. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Made from a good quality, 4 way-stretch lycra and close fit elastic binding for comfort and with fully adjustable belly and chest straps. The two nosebands separate to form a wide opening for the head and neck to pass through making this kinder and less intimidating for the horse. The botton noseband is pulled from under the jaw and over the top of the nose.  Then the upper noseband is centrally positioned between the ears and eyes and pulled down and over the nose, covering the botton noseband  The 2 nosebands are then secured under the jaw by a soft loop-velcro strap which passes through a web loop and onto the hook-velcro strip.
