Used but great condition. Neue Schule Pony Trans Angled Universal Bit 5" width 10mm diameter mouthpiece The brilliant all rounder, control without severity, a handy piece of kit. All of the pony cheeks are scaled down in proportion with the neat pony mouthpieces. The NS Universal offers control without discomfort or severity. It is brilliant for faster work such as jumping etc as you can turn much more easily and it generally eliminates the head toss when asking for a downward transition, or lengthening and shortening in between fences. If you need to upgrade from a snaffle, it is highly recommended as you are staying with a mild mouthpiece but subtly employing other pressure points. There are four rein options including the curb strap and Pelham roundings.

Used just a few times, get yourself a bargain - Purchased size 5.5 however measures slightly more, but fits and bought 5.5 inch.New £ The Neue Schule Loose Ring Starter Bit promotes mouthing and acceptance. Good for lunging, long-reining and relaxed schooling. A gentle bit with tongue relief that encourages the horse to stretch the topline seeking forward and down into a soft consistent contact. The 14mm normally offers extra lift from the shoulder as opposed to thicker mouthpieces. The Secret of the Salox? is the high thermal conductivity. This basically means that the mouthpiece of the bit warms up to about 30oC within the first few fractions of a second, whilst a stainless steel bit takes over 7 seconds. Again, when the bit moves in the mouth as the rein aids are applied the mouthpiece quickly adjusts to the new temperature. In essence, therefore the rein aids are more definitive because the bit no longer feels like a foreign body in the mouth. This equals a more relaxed acceptance of the bit. Horses that have previously been inwardly fixated on the bit and/or overactive have proven to be attentive and responsive to the aids provided by the Salox bits.

Neue schule 5 3/4 Wilkie bit. Has been used but in good condition. No reserve so grab yourself a bargain. The Beval cheeks have two settings. Option 1 is the action of a loose ring baucher (poll pressure) and Option 2 is the action of a mild gag. The Beval is particularly popular with the show ponies, often used for lead rein and first ridden. It is not a severe bit although it offers a little more control and helps especially the child rider as it promotes outline, head carriage and responsiveness (it helps the child to bring the pony’s nose in). It is available with a small, neat bradoon ring and is perfectly acceptable on the show pony’s head.
