Weaver Miracle Anti Crib Windsucking Collar (used medium/cob 14'2 size) I brought this about 6 months ago hoping that it would stop our year old mare from windsucking - and to be honest it didn't it did not seem to matter how tight we put it on she could still windsuck and also be really grumpy at the same time, so we have decided to stop trying to make her stop and just let her enjoy her retirement - she has done it all her life and I don't think she is going to stop now what ever we do. So miracle well I am not sure about that but perhaps it could work for you !! please see pictures for general condition etc as the collar does have some wear and tear marks on it as I am sure when we were not looking she might try and get if off and it could also do with a clean, but hopefully someone will get a bargain as I think it cost me over £40 when new. Although I can not find a size on it I am sure it was either medium or cob size. Thanks Fairyglen

For info medium size States fits large ponies and average size horses, large size States that it fits war bloods drafts and large horses After myself being the owner of a horse that cribbs, I had used the original "nutcracker" collar which I hated. I purchased one of these for my mare and she wears it most of the time apart from riding or where she is in a field where she is unable to crib. When I used the old fashioned collar she would get sore and the metal would rub, this collar almost moulds to the shape of your pony, I regularly condition mine to keep it supple, she shows no discomfort or wariness when fitted and even drops her head to have it fitted. I had a miserable mare who's stomach always rumbled and who's droppings were more like cow pats, after just a few days of wearing her new collar she was a different horse. I'm not saying that all horses will benefit from wearing a collar, but mine certainly did, and touch wood has never suffered any signs or symptoms of colic.

Used handfull of times but cant use front strap as it doesn't fit him. Has fleece sleeves with it also. Pic is the pic on the ad i bought it from not of the actual collar. My friends horse does not windsuck with his on and without he does it constantly even in the field. So they do work. Unfortunately i threw the box away.
