Ladies Black Wool Hunt Coat by Caldene.  This coat has done quite a few seasons with me and still has many more seasons in it.  2 front pockets and one large inside pocket.  Single vent back.  One of the original front buttons missing which I replaced with one of my own but could easily put your own hunt buttons on. Some wear on the inside lining of the jacket around the skirt area but this cannot be seen and one of the front pockets the lining has a hole but could be easily sewn otherwise the jacket is in very good condition and still looks smart.

All wool hunt jacket from Caldene - please excuse all the blobs on the photos, they're on my camera lens, not the jacket. Three button front, two flapped pockets, single back vent, and storm flap. The lining is Tattersall check wool throughout, and the sleeves are lined with what I'd guess is a creamy coloured nylon. The sleeves have been let down, but this is not obvious from the outside, there is no fold line showing, and there are no buttons on the cuffs. There are no internal pockets. armpit to armpit 20 ins / 51 cms, shoulder to shoulder 15.5 ins / 39.5 cms, shoulder to cuff 23.5 ins / 59.5 cms, armpit to cuff 18 ins / 46 cms, across waist 15.5 ins / 39.5 cms, length from back collar base 27 ins / 68.5 cms. ****************** Please note that payment is required within 5 days I always obtain proof of posting, so please contact me if you have not received your purchase within a reasonable timescale. I am selling my lovely Ladies Black Caldene Hunt coat jacket. Pure new wool. It is in excellent condition, clean and from a smoke free home. It is a ladies Caldene size 40, which in dress size is 12 The usual high standard of thick traditional lining with waterproof inside pocket for that all important hip flask! Photos really don't do the coat justice, it's not faded or bobbly...just fuzzy lens on iPad sorry Pure New Wool, sadly one front button missing. Black Ladies Hunt Coat/ Hunting Jacket made by Pytchley Lovely quality heavy weight wool with checked wool lining & Fox head buttons Used & has wear to material along the bottom edges of the front & back from the saddle, has a patch repair to back panel next to buttons that hardly shows, (approx 1"x 1.5" see photo) & some hand sewing on edge if sleeve lining  otherwise in good usable condition just the odd slobber/ sweat mark on the sleeves (equine not human!) still smart enough for the hunting field. Measures 18" pit to pit, 24" shoulder seam to cuff on sleeve, 29" base of collar to bottom at back. I would guess it's a 34" chest too snug on my daughter who is 36" Low P & P with myHermes.
