Mark Todd Deluxe Heavyweight Combo Turnout Rug 7' 3" This auction is for a fantastic Mark Todd winter rug. This deluxe turnout rug features an extra tough denier nylon, waterproof and breathable outer and nylon lining with 420g filling. There are low cross surcingles, adjustable double front buckles with quick release clip and hook and loop style fastening on the chest. There is also adjustable and removable leg straps. The rug features reinforced nylon anti-rub shoulders, shoulder gussets, large gusseted tail flap, fleece poll protection and anti-rub lining on the neck. There is reflective stitching on the binding and a reflective strip on the tail flap.   It has only been worn 4 times as I bought it in December last year for my big old hunter, so that he would be super snug in the winter, and then we didn't even have a frost.  That said, it is a fantastic rug and fits beautifully.  He was a 17.2 hunter with a big deep neck and massive shoulders and I used to have trouble finding rugs which didn't pull across his chest or cut into his neck when he had his head down eating, which was most of the time.  This one was just the job.  It's really thick and just a beautiful, well made rug.  The necks on the Mark Todd Rugs are designed to keep the neck covered when the head is down and it too is filled, to keep the horse extra cosy. It comes in it's original bag.  I've also had it cleaned, as even though he only wore it a few times, he certainly liked to rub in the mud when rolling.  I did notice, when taking the photo's, that the lining has been caught and a small hole made.  I'm absolutely gutted about it and don't know if it was done when it was being cleaned or not, but I've taken a picture so you can see what's happened.  Apart from that, it's in perfect condition and will make someone's horse very happy this winter.
