Details about   English Leather GP Saddle 17.5 M Black -

English leather saddle, measures 17.5" seat and stamped on bar as medium width fitting. Measures 9.5" d-d. This saddle is old very well used and only really suitable for breaking in. The seat has some flexion that is only due to age and old webbs, not broken but wouldn't advise to use for much more than breaking purposes. The saddle has some scuffs and cuts in the leather on the pommel, but all of this is not really an issue as cosmetic and doesn't affect it for use.

Fits all sorts but too short in the flap for my now 18.2hh show hunter hence reason for sale. Perfectly fine on a normal sized horse! Good condition and smart for the show ring. This unbranded, but nicely crafted, saddle is in Very Good Condition overall. There are the usual wear marks as must be expected but nothing major of note or anything that affects this saddle cosmetically or it's functionality. (see NB) This saddle was checked by a reputable saddler.  The 'photo's are as clear as possible & show good pictures  (I hope) most of which can be 'zoomed' into for a closer look !!. NB ~  There's some signs of  wear to part of the stitching, (if looked at closely) but only on a small section of each skirt and a small part at the edge of the leg panels. here is a stunning m and j English saddle in black excellent condition  only had for a year or so and previous to that only used lightly comfortable I have always worn a saddle fleece protecter on top to keep clean and try to prevent scratches  sad to see go but waste just sat in house doing nothing approx. 17 to 17.5 high front and back girth guards that attached all stiched is great selling due to sadly lost horse so cant use postage is high but it with be tracked and signed for and insured for safety thanks for looking and happy bidding have reduced as must go

A lovely quality black english leather GP saddle made by Bachelor. The saddle measures 17.5" from stud to cantle, 7.5 inches between the D rings and 4 inches between the padding in the gullet where it would sit on the horses back. The stirrup bar is stamped with an N.  The tree is sound as is all the stitching, the leather is soft and supple, the girth straps are all in good order and the flocking is smooth and even with a nice amount of give in it. A very nice saddle in good condition. Postage to Ireland would be £20
