This is a lovely Lovett and ricketts event saddle. The saddle doesn't have have big knee rolls but does support you in the saddle. I have used this saddle for the past two years competing show jumping and xc with my horse, and have never had any problems. The saddle is stamped 94, but has been well cared for over those years with strong girth straps, and no damage to the stitching. There is general cosmetic damage which would be expected for a saddle of this age, such as stirrup marks, scratches to the front and a mark on the back (pictured). The saddle is smart, in good working order, tree is sound (checked yesterday, when I bought a new saddle) only selling as wanted something with more support for bigger xc fences, and this was not quite fitting my boy anymore. Willing to accept sensible offers, and anyone local is welcome to have a look. Free collection for pick ups, I can look into courier for delivery at buyers expense. It fitted my 17.2 but not her 15.1. the D to D is 8" it can be collected from Coventry or I will post.  this is a very well loved saddle and you could sit in it all day for a days hunting, sad to see it go, but just doesn't fit my horse.

Beautiful, English made dressage saddle. Black. 17" medium/ wide saddle. Deep seat and incredibly comfortable- easy to sit to. In excellent condition and very light use only. Brown, 18 inch lovatt and ricketts saddle, wide fitting, 9.5 inch d to d ring.... well loved and used saddle, fading to the leather in some places and cantle is a little rough as expected from a used saddle. girth straps in great condition and flocking is good. very solid well made saddle.. all in all in fair condition. very comfy... comes with stirrup irons and leathers, leather girth, many years left in.  lots and lots of other equestrian and tack items available, please see my other listings  NOTE one of the buckle guards has become unstitched on his saddle, hence price.... i do still have it and will send it with saddle..... obviously it is still 100% useable without it, so its your choice if you want to have it restitched for cosmetic reasons

Lovely saddle which has been well looked after, 6 years old and only ever used on one horse who I have now sold. Usual signs of use but nothing that deters from it's use, been checked annually by qualified saddler. Would have kept it if it fitted any of my other horses but sadly it doesn't. Feel free to ask questions. There is a tiny temporary repair to secure a bit of stitching that came loose. A proper repair can be done but the temp stitching is virtually unnoticeable. You can see it in pic 3.  10" D-D so wide fit.

I have for sale a well loved and used Lovett & RIcketts brown GP saddle. leather saddle which does show wear and tear. all which is cosmetic and there is no structural damage to saddle. all marks are due to use. was used on a welsh section d x Friesian apprx 16hh. from pommel to cantle it measures 17.5 inchs   and from d-ring to d-ring 7inchs. would love to keep for my youngster but she is more chunky then last horse and taking up room. please note saddle sold as seen but the saddle cloth is NOT included. will be cleaned and leather oiled up for new owner. for any more information please pm. no returns. happy bidding

Measures 7.5" inches from d-d ring. I beleive the saddle to be a medium fit but I cannot guarantee its width. *please note change of circumstances since listing this item I am now away with business until Tuesday 12th. This is an 18inch Lovatt and Ricketts dressage saddle. I purchased this unaware of no girth straps. It isn't a lot to have them put in, I was told £15. It does have a tear in the seat, as you can see in photograph. I have sold my horse so I don't need it and wont be attaching the girth straps.
