Details about   Korsteel Pinchless Dutch Gag (bubble bit)

  This is a 5" inch Korsteel "Robart" pinchless dutch gag with a french link. The arms of the pinchless snaffle mouthpiece contain an internal bushing system, which permits either side of the bit to rotate independently of the other side. This unique action allows the rein signals to be felt independently and communication between horse and rider much clearer. The bit is in great condition, you can clearly still see the printing of "Korsteel 5"" and "ROBART" on the mouthpiece. I am having a bit of a clear out of my bit box so please see other bits also for sale. I will combine postage wherever possible. I always try to keep postage charges as low as possible but if you live in the parts of the UK that incur additional postal charges I am afraid I will need to pass these on to you.

When rein is attached below the mouthpiece it results in the bit rotating when a contact is taken up and this applies pressure to poll and mouth and encourages the horse to lower its head and neck.
