A unique and unusual designed tea pot This is an early Paul Cardew Teapot, made while he was working for southwest ceramics it is much rarer then the flat bottomed teapot of the same design. Very good condition, no chips or cracks or crazing. Blue ball of wool with pewter colour knitting needles Only around of this were made This design was produced for the Tea council to encourage people to drink. These early teapots did not have back stamp. The teapot stands 5.5 inches high, and measures 9 inches handle to spout.
