GREAT SADDLE FOR SALE! 17" Keiffer narrow to medium fit gp saddle Makers mark stamped on underside of both flaps "Keiffer - Munchen, Made in Germany " Extremely secure seat - very comfortable. Ideal for gp use and great for jumping. This saddle gives the rider a really safe feel with great knee rolls and a deep seat. I'm only selling as it's slightly too small for my horse - he has put on weight in his older age and needs a wider saddle. Cut back at the pommel to allow plenty of room for high withers. Measurements: 17"seat 7.5" from D to D 4" inner measurement front of gullet Panels are 19" long This saddle is in really good condition and been well looked after. There are a few minor marks but nothing more than you would expect from a second hand saddle. It's got many more years use left. Please enquire for further details/measurements/pictures.  Dark Brown made by George Kieffer, Munich. Narrow fit, 8" D-D centres, " between padding below pommel. The well cut back pommel would particularly suit a high withered horse. Plenty of padding which is even and smooth, all stitching is good. Soft and supple leather. 6 new girth straps. This is a really good quality well made saddle, see their website. It has no serious damage just a slight rough edge on one knee block and the normal small scuffs and marks you would expect from a used saddle. Black enamel is missing on one side and partially on the other from the 'GK' badge. Can be borrowed and tried if you are local. Returns accepted but buyer pays return carrier postage.

Details about   Symonds brown GP Saddle

Brought last year for my youngster who has now outgrown this saddle. This Symonds 17.5 medium width is very comfortable and although used is in excellent condition as can be seen from the photos. The padded knee rolls help to provide extra comfort and grip and I have not need to have the flocking done as it is still pliable and sits well on the horse. My youngster is a 16.3hh sports horse if that helps to gage what the saddle has been used on but as I said he is now in wide saddles.
