A lovely little showing saddle by ideal. Older style but still has many years ahead of it. Very supple leather that has been looked after well. Measures approx stud to cantle and approx 4 1/2inches between the pads. It was used on a young sec b who is changing shape so no longer fits. Any questions please ask. I am absolutely gutted that this saddle doesn't fit any of my current ponies as it is extremely comfortable (even when I squeeze myself into it!) and puts the rider in a great position. Would make a great WHP saddle as although there is plenty of knee roll it also accommodates a big shoulder. Has been used on a flat-backed Welsh section B with no withers as well as a Connemara who is a similar shape but now needs an extra wide. Having had a bit of a nightmare with specific courier companies that cannot seem to make the effort to see if anyone is at home, I am happy to send at cost using whichever service the buyer prefers, so will list P+P at £15, but it may well be less. Local collection is also a possibility and I am happy for the purchaser to view the saddle and try it on before the end of the auction. Also listed elsewhere, so may end auction early. I know I would get more money for this saddle if I sold it via my local saddler, but I have a tiny tack room and not enough space for lots of spare saddles!

Great little saddle, Girth straps like New and structurally sound. Cosmetically has hole on the knee roll but doesn't affect the saddle in any way. Little boy rode his pony in this saddle until we could afford a new one. Would make ideal saddle for riding in at home or as a backing saddle.
