great easy to drive truck with solid ramp Diesel engine plated to April taxed to / I am selling my beloved horsebox due to needing a large box, this drives really well even though it has no pas it is not noticeable, the ramp is light enough for me to do alone and is in great condition, horses that normally refuse to load, load nicely. Its petitioned for 2 horses 1 pony or 3 ponies, the box itself is only 9-10yrs old so even putting it on new chassis would work. There is cut though cab and living ie kitchen area storage cupboards and double bed above cab. There is bridle holder and 1 saddle rack also. The cab is showing age and could do with face lift, drivers side floor will prob require some welding. Please remember this is a old girl and not a shinny new one. brakes clutch ect do as they are meant, tyres have excellent thread. All in all this is a lovely box that has served us well will take up to 16hh but i haven't ever tried. 6.5 ton leyland roadrunner horsebox. Tilt cab Carries 3 horse with living space. This lorry was our project it has had a respray (cab and body)and welding to the cab by a professional company although i will admit it does need a clean. It has been stood for the past year but started first time after the battery had been charged. It has no MOT at present but on its last MOT it failed on a diesel leak which has now been fixed and contaminated rear breaks. I have found this box to be easy to drive and manover and does good mileage per gallon for its age and weight.
