Tired of cheap leather that cracks and bleeds from the first use? Treat your horse to this bargain old school style english leather bridle:):) Here we have a well used dark havana brown english leather bridle. Delicate  raised cavesson with flash attachment, brass buckles and snap clips to attach bit. Sometimes seen this referred to as "training bridle" with the snaps or jumper bridle. This bridle comes with a pair of matching plain reins, quite thin i believe they were at some point curb reins. These have billet hooks and a small silver coloured buckle at the ends, but the overall look matches the bridle very well. The leather on both the bridle and the reins is smooth and supple. It is "well loved" with the aged look leather gets, but no cracking or weak stitching. I have tried out this bridle on my own horse and found it functional and easy to adjust.  The browband on this bridle is not the same brand as the bridle, its colour is a bit paler, but it looks quite nice on (see pics) Is blingy with sparkly diamantes that flash in the light. It is well worn and not as secure as it once was but again, functional with no loose parts.  This bridle came to me with a flash strap that has seen better days, its buckle is rusting and the leather quite worn and faded, but it still works ok. See the end pictures for more info. I will include this flash strap but imo it needs a replacement to look properly smart. Overall I would say this bridle is a typical traditional style english leather bridle that has seen plenty of use but has a lot of life left in it. Ideal for training young horses, or when the budget is tight, as many say it is perhaps better to buy used good quality leather than some of the cheap stiff imported tack available nowadays. Ive tried to be as descriptive as possible as this is not a new or near new item, but please take a look at the pictures, excuse my sleepy horse she found modelling very boring and kept pinning her ears back. She's not included in the sale (altho you'd soon return her!) This leather has been disinfected, cleaned and treated with rapide leather cream, which has done wonders to nourish and restore it. I have spent some time cleaning up each buckle and hook but they could perhaps use a once over with metal polish. Brown English leather Ideal saddle Company saddle. This saddle was checked last week by a master saddler and is sound. It's a dead on medium fit with a 17" seat. I bought this saddle a few weeks ago but my horse has changed shape dramatically and therefore no longer fits. It has a very deep comfortable seat which encourages a correct riding position. It's been very well looked after by previous owner. It does have the usual marks where the leathers sit but when mounted you can't even see them. All girth straps are in full working order and both d rings are in place. There is a very slight amount of rust around the d rings as expected but doesn't affect the use in any way. Please make sure you measure your horse correctly as I don't accept returns. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me and I will do my best to answer all questions as best I can. Welcome to my listing. Please take an extra note of the terms at the bottom as there very strict and if you do not wish to stick to them PLEASE do NOT buy.   Right in this listing:   IDEAL 16-inch Pony brown GP saddle Medium (Stamped “M”) fit   A lovely quality little saddle in good condition and has been well cared for, quality English leather made by a fantastic saddlery.   You know your pony will thank you for getting them a saddle they can move freely in and that wont damage there back, its also very supportive with decent size knee blocks and really comfortable to ride in (or so my sister said).   Open seat style so she found it generous seat size, we had it on a fairly well built Sec B, doing WH classes and general use.   Saddle is 100% sound, still in really decent condition the only cosmetics to mention are as follows:   1. Has a small nick on the left knee roll at the top, as shown in photos 2. The leather on the seat has some water marks from riding in all weathers, although covered with a rider on-board or add a seat saver, and a few on the knee rolls again mostly covered when on-board.   Girth straps are ok; a couple holes more used then the others and few holes have stretched, although still useable may need replacing in near future, not an expensive job just find a good master saddler.   Other then that it just shows normal wear for a used saddle e/g light rubbing/small scratches etc.   PLEASE VIEW photos ALL cosmetics are shown.   Bargain price.   AGAIN please ONLY bid if you agree to all terms in listing description ONLY!
