Barefoot Hoof & Gravel Pick Stand out from the crowd with this Blacksmith Made hand forged hoof pick which has been crafted with care over the anvil using traditional blacksmithing techniques. Designed especially for the barefoot horse, this hoofpick has a hand forged tapered curved point which is small enough to remove small stones and tiny pieces of gravel which become lodged in the 'White Line' area in the horses foot. When a horse is shod, this area of the foot is covered by the steel shoe and is therefore protected against small stones working up the hoof. Where as standard hoof picks are adaquate in picking out mud, they are not small enough to remove the smallest of stones in a barefoot horse. Hoof-Stuff is an antimicrobial hoof pack for plugging holes and cracks in equine hooves. Containing only naturally occurring ingredients Hoof-Stuff is non-toxic, safe and easy to use. Its ability to stay in crevices due to its fibrous content allows it to act for longer than other treatments. Hoof-Stuff has been found useful for seedy toe, white line disease, deep central sulcus separation, abscess cavities, grass cracks among other issues. It's active ingredients act not only to eliminate bacteria and fungus but also promote healing and restoration of healthy tissue. Honey makes fantastic base for this product increasing its healing and antimicrobial powers and aiding adhesion into the hole! Hoof-Stuff is advised for use in deeper, tighter holes in the hooves where it is deemed fabric would stay. With shallower holes Artimud is advised instead. Hoof-Stuff contains the following ingredients:     Unpasteurised Honey - For it's antimicrobial and healing properties but also to give the product a good, sticky consistency.     Zinc Oxide - Again for it's antimicrobial nature and ability to aid the healing process.     Natural Fibres - To keep the other ingredient in place in cavities and to provide 'beneficial pressure' to the inside of them and promote regrowth of healthy tissue.
