Used once on top of a numnah for 30 minutes, only sign of use is some saddle soap marks on the quilting and the front numnah straps are marked. It is otherwise immaculate and you wouldn't know it has been used. Due to giving up eventing, I have had a clear out, please take a look at my other items... A very useful, versatile numnah which can be used on its own or with a HiWither pad if preferred. Made in a 5oz quilt with our Classic wool on the underside against the horse's back. No collars. The Velcro straps attach the D rings on the saddle. Can be used with most saddles and works particularly well with close contact saddles. QUILT The quilted fabric Griffin NuuMed use in all their products is produced especially for us using carefully selected polycotton drill and various weights/densities of wadding. The heavier the weight, the thicker the wadding. The quilted fabric used in each NuuMed product, in conjunction with other components, is selected to ensure optimum product performance. We currently use quilt material made with the following wadding weights: 5oz - used in the majority of NuuMed numnahs and saddlepads. Has a very smart ‘chicken wire' design 9oz - used in selective product lines. Has vertical stitching pattern. 12oz duvet - offers very good levels of protection. Looks dense and ‘fluffy'. Vertical stitching design. 12oz stack - more compact than duvet. Very effective. Vertical stitching. 440g (approx 15.5oz) - our "Euro" quilt has an extra layer of wadding creating a firm, dense quilt but without any bulk. Visually similar to the 5oz. WOOL There are four densities of top quality 100% British wool used in NuuMed products. All the wool used is the same - but is woven onto a cotton yarn in varying densities. The different densities have been chosen for use by NuuMed to ensure optimum product performance. Once the wool is on the backing, it is then trimmed to NuuMed's required length. Wool densities used by NuuMed: • Lightweight - quality, less densely woven wool creating a soft, lighter weight finish. Trimmed to approx 1" in length • Classic - the original NuuMed wool. "Griffin NuuMed HiWither Half Lined Wool Numnah in White. The HiWither Half Lined Numnah is a smart, light weight and hard wearing numnah that is ideal for everyday use and competition wear. The Half Lined Wool Numnah features Lightweight wool over the horse's key pressure points and offers good levels of protection, while allowing the rider close leg contact. The Light weight Wool is a less densely woven wool that creates a soft, lighter weight finish and is trimmed to approx 1" in length.The Numnah offers a polycotton drill 5oz light weight quilt in a high wither design that is shaped to contour to your horse's back. The Numnah features long straps and girth loops". I have regularly used and washed this numnah.  I have been very pleased with it on the horse but my horse was bay and some of the hair holds in the wool (as shown on the photo).  The edges of the numnah by the girth straps are a little freyed, and a bit grubby where the girth has been.  Measures 22" across the spine and 19" down.  Still has plenty of life left in it yet.....Any question, just ask.
