A lovely quality black english leather GP saddle made by GFS/Fieldhouse. The saddle measures 17" from stud to cantle, 9.5 inches between the D rings and 5.25 inches between the padding in the gullet where it would sit on the horses back. The tree is sound as is all the stitching, the girth straps are in good order and the flocking is smooth and even with a nice amount of give in it. There is a bit of surface cracking to the leather on the saddle flaps and the gfs badge is missing on the off side but otherwise a very nice saddle in good condition.

USED GFS Fieldhouse BLACK leather GP saddle ". This is a very nice saddle with a comfortable seat position. The D - D rings measurement is 8 1/2" and the internal gullet measures front 3 1/4" Middle 1 3/4" and back 1 1/4". It is showing some signs of wear at the cantle and pommel but does not effect its use. Also there are two indentation marks on the seat which is not visual when in use along with two small scratch marks.

It is in good condition for it's age, but does have some marks and signs of wear. In particular, there is some damage to the cantle, which can clearly be seen from the photos, but this does not detract from it's usability, and is reflected in the reasonable price.

There are a few stretch marks in the seat and slight fading towards the rear of the saddle as shown in the photographs but it is a superbly comfortable saddle and expensive when new. It measures 9" from D ring to D ring.

Measures nearly 9" across the dee's. Stamped ' M' on the sweatflap. Width is a generous Medium.  Flap measures 15" from stirrup bar to bottom.  Tree is sound. The stitching is strong, and girth straps are in good condition. Full grain leather is beautifully soft and supple throughout. Has webbing in place for a point strap to be fitted if necessary. Panels are wool flocked and soft and even. Wide panels provide a large bearing area for improved pressure distribution. Just normal signs of wear and use. No marks or damage.
