However, rope halters are the halter of choice for most professional horse trainers.  Because the material is thin, it imparts more pressure to the sensitive areas of the horse's head and face: his nose and his pole. During early training,  a horse must be taught to give in to the pressure and move with his halter.  He will learn the lesson much more quickly with a rope halter than a nylon halter.

Details about   Pressure training halter headcollar

Pressure training halter made from yatching rope. The noseband adjusts and so does the headpiece so theoretically should fit any horse. I tried it on a cob size and it worked fine, simple system when the horse resists the rope tightens around both poll and head, and when the horse behaves and stops resisting the pressure is released. When used correctly can train a horse to lead nicely. Could be good as an alternative to the amazing dually if the budget is really tight, as it works on a similar principle. See final picture for a view of my horse modelling this. Good condition, slight staining due to being white, but has been washed and is ready to go. **The boring bits** Please pay within 1-2 days of winning the auction.  The postage option available is Hermes, to keep costs down and their drop off options mean I can get your parcels posted much faster.
