It has three girth straps straight cut to show off the shoulder but a knee roll underneath so suitable for workers. No longer fits my pony who has outgrown it. Lovely comfy saddle, in very good condition, no damage.  I bought the saddle  a couple of months ago, but alas the saddle fitter has told me that it is not a great fit on my appaloosa gelding.  Hence for re-sale.  The saddle has a W stamp on it but the saddle fitter thought it would be more accurate to advertise it as a Medium Wide. 

Details about   17" MW Classic Saddlery. Half Panel. Point

Brown English made GP  by Classic Saddlery. British standard on the stirrup bar. Very comfy. Block built into flap. Super soft and strong buffalo leather on the flaps and skirts and soft hide leather on the seat and knees. Measures 17" from stud to centre of cantle.  Measures 8 1/2" across the dee's. This is a nice medium wide fit. Stamped 'M' on the stirrup bar but is generous and fits wider due to the half panels. Flap measures 14" from stirrup bar to bottom.  Tree is sound. The stitching is strong and girth straps are sound and solid. Point and balance strap to hold the saddle in place and prevent rolling or sliding. Normal signs of light use. Nicely flocked panels. Half panels allow much more freedom for the shoulder,ideal for chunkier types. No marks or real signs of wear. Beautiful leather quality, very soft and supple throughout.  Pics really do not do this saddle justice. Useful saddle from a good maker. Any questions please ask! My email address is or call or . Beautiful 17" MW Fylde saddle. In lovely used condition. There is some slight stitching repair on the seat (as shown) measuring 1". Usual wear and stirrup marks. I've tried to include all wear on pictures. This is a fabulous and comfortable saddle. Extremely stylish.
