Details about   Heritage English Dressage Saddle XX WIDE

English made dressage saddle. 18" extra extra wide. Made by Heritage Saddlery. Was originally made for a very wide Irish cob but has most recently been used on my table-top wide Percheron cross. The saddle has quite a deep seat and knee rolls, it is very comfortable. Although it is a second hand saddle it has had an easy life, not seen much use at all over the past couple of years. All seams are intact, d rings on and the flocking is still nice and firm. There are marks on the girth straps where it has been used but nothing serious to compromise the integrity of the straps. Some rubbing marks from stirrup leathers, again nothing that distracts from this lovely saddle. If you do the "Buy it now" option I will enclose the white numnah that has been used with saddle. It is not in photo as it is being washed.

I am sadly selling my beautiful xxwide GP saddle due to loosing my beautiful boy to cushings.the saddle was bought from new as i needed xxwide for my cob we hunted and jumped and hacked daily in this very comfortable saddle and i later added Flair due to him changing shape with the cushings which cost me a lot of money but it was worth it.A very good quality saddle which has been regularly cleaned and fed nice and supple with lots of years left.the tree is good.I am putting this on at a bargain to pay for my recent vet bills and so someone can use it rather than me storing it. This would suit a cob or any xxwide which is tricky to find.

Beautiful fylde Ray saddle, 18" seat, bought from fylde saddlery new RRP £ in June , medium wide when bought but had it adjusted to a medium, 9" from d to d at the moment. Can be adjusted again at fylde saddlery. Almost new, only used for 3 shows, kept at home with saddle cover on. Has adjustable knee blocks with two different shaped blocks for workers or showing. Lovely saddle in good used condition. Usual marks from the stirrup leathers as seen in photos. 16.5" medium/ wide fit - I am 5'7 and 9.5 stone and it fits me fine!! Used on my 16hh Hanoverian x TB and fitted her nicely. Beautiful fit and really shows of the shoulder. It measures 9" from d to d. I bought this saddle earlier this year and it has only been used 4-5 times in the show ring and occasionally at home. It has been well looked after and regularly cleaned. Only for sale as my horse really doesn't enjoy showing so no longer needed! I would love to keep it as it's so comfortable and puts you in a lovely position but I need another jumping saddle so it has to go. Happy for anyone to view it and for buyer to collect - we are just outside Bridgwater in Somerset.

Details about   Fylde Saddle 18" Working Hunter Havannah

A Fylde working hunter saddle that has been mega well used and needs lots of tlc! I have taken as good a picture as I can to show that the seat has started to come away from the seam, the worst side being the right but the left is going too although I used a fluffy seat saver. I have oiled the saddle regularly so it is supple but the girth straps, although useable, would be fair to say have stretched and for safety definitely could do with being replaced! The stitching is coming away slightly at the bottom of the right hand flap and although this has no detriment to the saddle it could be stitched whilst girth straps/seat are being sorted. There are water marks clearly visible on the seat area where I've used it out in the rain over many, many years - see picture. It is a big, wide saddle for a big horse it's been on many cob x types of 15.2 upto 17.3!! It is an old saddle but comfortable never the less and with the right hands could be either restored to working hunter classes again or at least used for work riding. It cost a fortune in it's day and has had many judges comments of comfort but it is tired and very worn and old so bear this in mind hence no reserve price being applied as I would just like it to go to a new home because we don't have the type of horses it requires to be used any more and it's becoming another orniment to clean!! The tree is sound and after all it is a Fylde!! Happy bidding. I've no problem shipping abroad but please contact me to gain a price otherwise you will be charged to higher rate to cover international insurance.
