A super comfy Freemax treeless saddle for sale.  16" General purpose saddle.  Have ridden many a comfy mile in this saddle.  The usual stirrup marks have shown on the suede-like fabric and there are a couple of small sweat marks underneath, but it has always been used with a numnah.  These retail at £ new.  Now surplus to requirements.  Can do cash on collection, am in South Norfolk.

Short backed treeless saddle, inch seat (equivalent to english ). Fork size unknown, aprox med/wide to wide,  fitted my highland very nicely until she muscled up, the same with my 15hh quarter horse. The fork can be changed by a freemax representative. Very comfortable, used regularly, so nice and soft and supple but good condition. Very comfy saddle but I'm not planning on having my own horse for a while, hate to see it unused. Comes with pad and cinch.

This is a lovely Freemax Treeless western saddle. I bought it brand new and have only used it a few times. It is excellent condition. It is lovely looking, lightweight and very comfy to sit on but unfortunately doesn't fit my horse.It is suitable for a broad backed cob or pony. With a 16" seat and attractive tooling around the edges of all the leather. It has a size 6 fork. It doesn't have a cinch but I can supply a used one if wanted. It also needs a thick pad under it as all treeless saddles do.

The fork can be replaced with another size if required and I have also used it with a front riser pad on horses that are not so wide. Feels as secure as a treed saddle to ride in but has memory foam on both the seat and under the panels.

Made in the U.S., the Sports Saddle is the Rolls-Royce of treeless saddles. This is a rare opportunity to acquire one in this country. Fits practically any horse at any point in the season and allows exceptional freedom of movement in the back and shoulders. We are selling this for a client but have been using them for over 20 years at international level endurance and have never found a better saddle, so will be happy to provide a testimonial. They do not measure in the same way as a standard saddle so I've shown the dimensions in the photos. Apparently if you are a dress size 8 - 10 this is the right size for you. We have fitted girth converters to this saddle so it will take a standard English style girth. The original western rigging is still available. The stirrup hangers are large D-rings, wide enough to take wide-webbing leathers if you so desire. They are located under the skirt flap you can see in the pictures and attached to the body of the saddle by v-formation webbing. This means your stirrup weight is very evenly distributed through the saddle, and the hangars do not put any pressure at all on the horse. It also means you need to cut down your stirrup leather length. These saddles take a little getting used to by the rider so bidders who may be unfamiliar with them are strongly encouraged to contact us for a test drive.   We will only sell in the UK.
