Soft elastic strap between front legs with a loop to pass the self fabric girth through for extra security and strong velcro fastening. Made in england RRP Used twice a few years ago on my youngster. Seemed to do a perfect job no mud got under and they didnt slip, but we lost our turnout so they didnt get used and he outgrew them. Overall condition is really good, just one small tear which has been repaired where my boy caught it, double stitched for durability and shouldnt affect use. The velcro is perfect and ive given them a wash in non bio as they were sat in the tack room for a while. Lovely comfortable brown leather saddle, stamped 17.5 M (17.5 inch, medium width). Purchased by me new in Nov and has only had light use. Normal marks for stirrup leathers and girth buckles. Has 3 small scuffs on the cantle, I have tried to show these in the last picture, they are hardly noticeable. This saddle has standard length flaps and has been well maintained and kept well stored in a mould free environment. Has been reflocked by a Master Saddler at the beginning of this year the flocking is smooth, soft and lump free. D to D it measures 8.5 to 9 inches as far as I can tell. The serial number is still visible and Frank Baines saddlers will happily answer any technical questions about the saddle. Other than the reflock the saddle has not been altered from new in any way.
