RELISTING DUE TO BEING LET DOWN BY PREVIOUS BIDDER. Lovely old heavy leather saddle with wear.  As I know nothing about horses not sure if it is for general riding, dressage or show jumping. I have photographed it from several angles and included a ruler for sizing.  It is about 17" from front to back and 10" across the seat Approximately 32" open flat - see photo There is a wear hole on one side and the leather stitching has broken along one edge. The steel fixings are slightly rusting but I cannot see any damage to the straps or metal rings Payment on collection or in advance if being sent please.   We are located between Salisbury and Shaftesbury, just off the A303.  Delivery could be arranged within the local area for a small charge.  Hi I have an 17" Black English leather dressage saddle with FLAIR System for sale 9" d to d  lovely deep seat  sadly for sale as to big for my pony bought it about eight years ago for £400  I no longer have the horse I bought it for.  It has some signs of wear please see picture 6and7 just stitching worn a little tree sound slight colouring to saddle bluish  not noticeable when in saddle I have loved this saddle puts you in the correct position sorry to see it go grab a bargain Can be adjusted to fit with qualified flair fitter my horse went really well in this saddle  sold as seen no returns happy bidding thanks for looking please check out my other items

English made dressage saddle. 18" extra extra wide. Made by Heritage Saddlery. Was originally made for a very wide Irish cob but has most recently been used on my table-top wide Percheron cross. The saddle has quite a deep seat and knee rolls, it is very comfortable. Although it is a second hand saddle it has had an easy life, not seen much use at all over the past couple of years. All seams are intact, d rings on and the flocking is still nice and firm. There are marks on the girth straps where it has been used but nothing serious to compromise the integrity of the straps. Some rubbing marks from stirrup leathers, again nothing that distracts from this lovely saddle. If you do the "Buy it now" option I will enclose the white numnah that has been used with saddle. It is not in photo as it is being washed.

Walsall made pony dressage saddle.  In very good used condition. Rare to find a wide 16" true pony dressage saddle! Stamped Gallop on the flap. British standard on the stirrup bar. Good quality English leather throughout, and well made. Stamped 'Made in Walsall, England' on the sweatflap. Good big knee block. Versatile, comfy and secure. Good wide and well padded seat. Lovely broad panels and wide gullet. Puts you in a correct position. Set back stirrup bars. Suede seat and knees for more grip. Measures 16" from stud to centre of cantle. Measures 9 1/2" across the dee's. Nice Wide to Extra Wide fit.  Flap measures 15" from stirrup bar to bottom.  Tree is sound. The stitching is strong, and girth straps are in good condition. Has point strap fitted, to help stability, and holds the saddle well behind the horse's shoulder. Panels are wool flocked and soft and even. Just normal signs of wear and use. Very tidy unbranded dressage saddle. 17.5 seat and medium fit. Y girth system and adjustable stirrup bars make this quite an unusual saddle. Very nicely balanced with medium external knee rolls which are quite soft. Flocked with wool and flocking in great condition. Fairly deep gusset. Medium deep seat. A good work saddle for any yard. Slight rain damage at cantle shown in photo 10. The black is not quite as black here as it should be. A total bargain as we don't know the maker.
