RELISTING DUE TO BEING LET DOWN BY PREVIOUS BIDDER. Lovely old heavy leather saddle with wear.  As I know nothing about horses not sure if it is for general riding, dressage or show jumping. I have photographed it from several angles and included a ruler for sizing.  It is about 17" from front to back and 10" across the seat Approximately 32" open flat - see photo There is a wear hole on one side and the leather stitching has broken along one edge. The steel fixings are slightly rusting but I cannot see any damage to the straps or metal rings Payment on collection or in advance if being sent please.   We are located between Salisbury and Shaftesbury, just off the A303.  Delivery could be arranged within the local area for a small charge. Lovely Beaufort WH/Show pony saddle 16" seat and medium fit. Very tidy saddle as you can see from the photos, No loose stitching, girth leathers in excellent condition and tree is sound. The padding on the underside is in good condition as are the straps and complete with the metal stirrups. However the leather seat on the top side is splitting and separating (please study pictures). Brown leather GP saddle, old style, made in Walsall so excellent quality. 17" size, medium fit. Very comfortable to ride in so ideal for a day's hunting or for hacking. THERE IS A SECTION AT THE FRONT WHICH LOOKS DARK BROWN SUEDE. I THINK THAT IS WHERE THE LEGS RUB? HE SAYS IT IS FOR A 13 TO 14 HAND HORSE. I HAVE MEASURED FROM THE FRONT TO THE BACK AND IT MEASURES INCH. HE SAYS IT ISN'T CRACKED WHICH I PRESUME THAT IS LIKE A BOOK SPINE.
