For offer is my wife's driza-bone 3/4 length coat in the iconic style, with cape over the shoulders. It is actually labelled as a short coat, the material is the mid weight dry waxed cotton. As such it can be worn with equal charm both in Paris doing the grand tour or at home walking the dogs, as indeed my wife has done. Apart from the shoulder cape already mentioned it has storm flap and storm cuffs; two good outside pockets and one inside. I cannot recall what this particular jacket was called when we bought it a few years ago, but I have just had a quick squizz at the Driza-Bone website and this jacket looks very very similar to the ladies Avanti mid length coat in all respects. It is in very good to excellent condition, I cannot see any defects, but it has been worn though certainly not a lot. It could probably benefit from a quick spray over with some appropriate proofer just to strengthen the shower resistant properties, I know that these do tend to reduce over time. It is marked as a " SIZE 3  XS   CH 95 CM ". Any questions please do ask

It’s traditional wearer’s were often on horseback so the reinforced elbow patches on the coats are strategically placed on the inside of the elbows, preventing the pools of rain which naturally form there, from seeping in. The coat is long enough so the rain won’t run into your boots, and also has leg straps to stop your Driza-Bone from flying around in the wind. Sleeves are extra long for greater movement with adjustable wrist tabs to hold them in place, and seams are heavy duty double stitched in areas of greatest stress. The cut of the cape is specifically designed to protect the body just where it is most exposed to rain and cold. The fantail at the back allows for greater leg room without sacrificing rain protection, and the large pockets with flaps keep valuables protected. Detachable hood available as an addition if required. The Riding Coat is made from Driza-Bone’s traditional 100% cotton heavyweight oilskin which is one of our strongest and toughest fabrics. The fabric is treated with a natural paraffin wax to protect from the elements. When used in a garment, the oil finish absorbs into the thread and seams, giving added weather protection.
