The boots are made differently for front and hind legs as the areas of protection and flections differ. The front boot gives an additional area of protection at the back of the fetlock, to help against impact from the hind hoof. The hind boot has an additional area of protection at the front of the leg for use when jumping. Constructed with a tough synthetic leatherette outer, for durability and ease of cleaning. The boot is lined with high quality fur to ensure a perfect comfortable fit, that also allows air circulation to keep your horses legs cool. There is a layer of 6mm high impact resistant foam between the leatherette and fur for additional protection. Fastened with Clarendon’s unique system of three elastic and Velcro straps, which are securely held in place by three stainless steel hooks on elastic. These ensure the boot straps will not undo thus making it unnecessary to over tape. The elastic is made exclusively for Clarendon. Pair of full size (worn on 16.3 and 17.2 horses) white FRONT brushing boots. Velcro touch fitting. Very sturdy and offer fantastic protection. These boot are used but are in excellent condition. The velcro has some hairs etc caught in it but nothing that a velcro brush couldn't get out. The inside of the boots do have some stains. They have been machine washed but with a good scrub they should come up as new. the straps are all intact with no sign of wear.The front of the boot have some scuff marks from doing the job they were bought for.
