Clipper Service & Repair Service Prevent your animal or hair clippers from overheating or failing when you most need them. By having your clippers serviced regularly you will reducing the chance of failure and then needing to lay out on an expensive new set. What does the service include? Once we have received the clippers we will dismantle them and clean them inside & out. We will then individually check every component inside the clipper. If all is OK, the relevant parts will be oiled & greased. Any electrical connections will be re-soldered if needed. Finally one set of blades will be sharpened with the service before we send them back to you. If we find any components which require replacing, immediately or in the near future, we will contact you with a quote and ask if you would like them replaced or not. What if I have more than 1 set of blades to be sharpened? One set of blades are included in the service price of £ return postage. If you would like us to sharpen more than 1 set then please contact us first. What if my clipper needs any new parts? While servicing your clippers, if we discover that any parts are nearly worn or need replacing, we will contact you with a quote. It is up to you if you wish is to replace the parts or return the clippers to you. If you should decide to have the parts replaced, we will email an invoice and an option of ways for you to pay the outstanding amount. Will I have any kind of warranty after the service? Yes. When we sent your clippers back, we will include a certificate which includes 6 months labour warranty, and 6 months warranty on any parts which we replaced. Should your clippers fail in this time on any part we have replaced, we will repair them completely free of charge. If your clippers have failed due to a part which was not replaced during your service, you will only be charged for the new part. How do I get my clipper to you once I have paid for my service? How and when will I get my clippers back? All services are usually completed and dispatched within 48 hours of us receiving them. We send all items fully insured, tracked and a signature will be required upon receipt.
