I am selling my 6'9" Bucas Smartex Extra 300 gram turnout rug.  This rug is lightweight, yet incredibly warm insulation in between two very advanced technical layers.  The layer next to the horse is a 300g Bucas ‘‘Stay-Dry” lining that wicks away moisture from the horse so the fabric is never wet on the horses skin.  The outer layer is a ballistic nylon for ultimate strength with a breathable and waterproof inner coating ensuring the horse is dry at all times. The Smartex rug has shoulder darts for extra room and movement and the shoulder areas are lined with soft nylon to prevent rubs.  The Smartex Extra also features the unique ‘Click n Go’ closure system. The rug also benefits from a double layered chest panel with an additional Velcro band for added security. Padding in the panel also gives comfort and protection against rubs. Cross surcingles and detachable elastic leg straps, a tail flap for added protection and reflective piping around the edge of the rug are all essential details. Velcro panels on either side of the neck give the option to add the Combi Neck Cover. This is a very sad sale of a great rug that was only used for 1 week on my youngster last winter,  you can imagine my disappointment when I got it out to try the other day only to find he's outgrown it! I am selling my power turnout as my horse has had a growth spurt! The rug is 6'9 and comes with the Bucas neck hood which is a large. The rug is a year old and is in used condition but has recently been repaired, re proofed and cleaned. (due to the texture of the lining it is still a bit hairy, I have tried but cannot get these off!) The rug has had some repairs and been snagged at the shoulders but there are no holes in the main part of the rug, the buckles are all corrosion free, in good working order and complete. Bucas power turnout rug in reflective silver 6'6. Worn for one winter, freshly washed and in fair condition with some minor repairs needed and reproofing recommended. There is a small tear onthe rump near the tail flap of approx 2 inches and one of the velcro hood attachments has come unstitched but this doesn't affect the rug performance unless you want to use a neck cover (nb not included). I love these Bucas rugs and have bought another one for my new horse as she is a 6'3 but they are super lightweight, warm and great for putting on a damp horse as they draw moisture away.
