Here i have a stunning 5 point breastplate running martingale in brown. Full size. It is such a beautiful thing finishes off tack nicely but unfortunatly i have all black tack now. It is a full but i now have a pony martingale on my cob. So it is fully adjustable really.   Sheepskin pads on shoulders. Attatches to saddle at girth and d rings. Good quality thick leather. I have the original full running parts that de attatch. I also have a pony part to attatch please see photos. Any questions please ask.

A lovely brown leather breastplate with martingale attachment in nearly new superb condition. I bought from a friend who told me it was cob size, it is not and is clearly marked 'full' so I have never used it. It is really smart and completely pristine. Lovely soft smooth leather.

This is a brown standing martingale.It is made of leather but I cannot guarantee that it is english leather. I am not sure what size it is. I bought it for a 15hh Connemara and it fitted her. It measures 47" from where it attaches to the noseband to the end underneath the girth - when on the SMALLEST hole. Obviously you could punch more holes to shorten if required. The martingale is in good used condition. The leather has been well maintained and is supple with no signs of cracking. All keepers are intact. I try to keep the postage as low as possible but if you live in the more far flung parts of the UK, I may need to pass the extra postal charges onto you. I am having a bit of a tack room clear out so please see my other items, I will combine postage wherever possible. You don't see standing martingales very often these days but I know some trainers still recommend them because they don't affect the rein contact and only come into play when the horse puts its head up.
