Well used but fine working condition brown leather all purpose saddle by British saddles Cardanel. It's a number of years old now but when new was an expensive saddle. Really comfortable. Has been used for both schooling and great for hacking. Measures 10" from d ring to d ring so medium wide. Re flocked about a year ago. There is some discolouration on the leather as can be seen in pictures and a small tear underneath but only cosmetic.  Hence a bargain starting price

I am selling my brown leather farringtons gp saddle. It is a medium with a 17.5" seat. It is in very good condition and has been checked every 6 months by a master saddler and flocked and was looked at last on 8 July. It is a very comfortable saddle with a nice seat and decent knee rolls. It has been well used but still has a lot of life left in it. The girth straps have started to come apart at the bottom on both sides as you can see in the photos but they have been like this for the two years I have owned the saddle and it does not cause any problems with doing up the girth and doesnt weaken the straps. It does have marks and scuffs on it as it has been well used. The pin on the left of the saddle has come out but I still have the pin and it just needs pushing back in. It is a lovely saddle and I am only selling it as it does not fit my horse.

Lovely, comfortable Cardanel saddle. Although used, the saddle is in good condition and is very comfortable. It fitted a 14.1hh native pony like a glove. It has recently been flocked and has been well looked after. I would say that it is a medium wide fitting.  Cardanel Saddles of Walsall is a small family business specialising in the manufacture of high quality leather saddles.  I have tried various other makes but Cardanel is still my favourite make- their quality is second to none.

17.5" Brown Leather GP Saddle Medium fit (9" from d-ring to d-ring) By David Sayer (North Yorkshire based Master Saddler) This saddle is in very good condition, and has been well cared for (regularly cleaned and oiled). It has a very comfortable, deep seat. There are a few rub/wear marks across the cantle, slightly on the pommel, and also on the knee rolls, which can all be seen on the photographs. None of these affect the integrity of the leather having caused only superficial colour change. The tree, all stitching, straps and rings are in tact. This saddle was recently valued by David Sayers at £350.
